The Worst To First WALK Kickoff
We are very excited to kick off the first leg of the Worst To First Walk next week in the Florida panhandle.  We will be traveling through Century and Pensacola. We will be meeting with Leadership Corps students and community leaders to improve the investment in the lives of our children’s health, education and welfare. The focus of our visit will be to accomplish the following:
1)     EDUCATE and inspire various communities and schools about Worst To First and the effort to reach One Million Signatures for the support of Florida’s youth through the Worst To First Pledge
2)Â Â Â Â Â HIGHLIGHT the community organizations which are doing the good work already to help Florida to improve from worst nationally to first in critical health and education indicators.
3)Â Â Â Â Â
ENGAGE citizens in volunteer programs in their own communities geared towards youth and to encourage everyone to tell their story through our social networking site at
LCLC.WorstToFirst.org
4)     LISTEN to the communities about what’s working and what’s broken and chronicle their stories.
We want to hear from you
- What programs in your area fighting hard to change the dynamics in education and well being?
- Where can we lend a helping hand to make a difference in your city during our visit?
- How can we help raise awareness and support for the challenges your community is facing right now?
