I completely agree with Hannah. If Florida teaches to higher standards, standards as compared to the nation and not the state, it will ensure the rise of our education quality, AND will benefit our carreer and college opprotunities. FCAT is minimum standard, and I think that we are better than that.

Today my fellow Pasco High comrads and I collected over 150 pledges at our school’s registration…Its not much but its a start…

we need you to act NOW! Aug 18th, the Pasco School Bd is meeting in ”executive session” (closed doors) to discuss funding. contact our board members… ask for step increases for teachers and fully paid health benefits for our teachers. You can make a difference! emails MUST be sent by Monday night.
