We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Hospital and Home Education Learning Centre, an education provision based in the City of Nottingham for children and young people with health needs. HHELC delivers four separate provisions across 3 sites including;
Two wards and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Lookout Adolescent Unit at Hopewood CAMHS Unit.

The Council’s role is to act as the champion for children, young people and their parent or carers. We play a key strategic and City-wide leadership role which includes monitoring the progress of each school, challenging where outcomes for our children are not good enough and ensuring that the right support is put in place to see swift improvements are made.
That is why we want every child that lives in the City to be educated in a good or outstanding school.

We are an independent school that helps young people aged 11-14 who are at crisis in their educational experience. As a reflection of our underpinning Christian ethos, our practice is to uphold and encourage respect, care, love, acceptance and belonging among our staff and pupils.
TLG’s programmes are designed to help individuals grow in confidence, raise their aspirations and reach their full potential – providing building blocks for a better life. We seek to engage young people on pathways to learning with accredited outcomes, that facilitate reintegration back into school, or progression on to further education or employment with training.

Connex Education Partnership arrived in Nottingham in 2004 and has become a very well-established agency with longstanding relationships with many schools. Many of them use us exclusively. If you are a teacher or teaching assistant looking for work in Nottingham, make us your first call. We are quite sure you won’t be disappointed.
Our Nottingham office is in the heart of the Hockley area of the city centre, a short walk from the Market Square and the Nottingham Ice arena. Located next to the Lace Market, Hockley is full of well-preserved Victorian buildings – an area known as the “Soho of Nottingham.”
